Who We Are
OUR VISION FOR FAST PITCH
Our vision at American Girl Fastpitch is to create a program on a local and national level that provides an alternative to existing leagues. The focus is on developing mental and physical player improvement, and tying the fast pitch sport and Breast Cancer Awareness together to aid in helping breast cancer research.
The entire program will be overseen by Vic Puglisi.
Vic has taken the mountain girls to 4 national championships, with 2 top ten finishes and one national finals. The insight and training he offers promotes the dedication a player requires to compete on a higher level. After taking the mountain girls to the national championship finals, Vic went on to coach at Cal State San Bernardino and La Sierra University. He brings that experience back to the fast pitch community. Quality coaching will be achieved through multiple coaching clinics aimed at developing better coaching standards and program consistency. This format is designed to increase awareness for all age groups and to highlight the need for the support of continued breast cancer research. The birthplace of this unique program will be right here in our Mountain Communities. Vic was inspired to create this program by the loss of a dear friend to this debilitating disease.
Here is our chance to be part of something special!
